First post here and hello!

I'm in the market for a well made and rugged open tinnie in the 4.2-4.5m size range with a 40hp tiller steer OB and can spend up to 15k. The whole rig can't be too heavy as I've only got a 4cyl car but want something with a bit of freeboard, a 3mm bottom and at least 2mm on the sides. Two boats I have bookmarked so far are the Quinnie Renegade and Bluefin rogue deluxe plate, both similar dimensions, weight and cost. I used to own a 90's Mayfair built Clark 4.3 abalone and it was a tank and the handling was awesome but I can't find anything like it on the web, any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Cheers
Nick

First question here will be.... What sort of fishing do you want to do with it?

I have heard favourable reports about these guys and some whinges, but they appear to have a range that might suit your needs.
My son's father in law bought the Big Daddy 4 mths back and every thing is fine so far.
Cheers.

Thanks, the Big Kohuna and Daddy Savage's look ok and are also cheaper than most I've looked at. One thing though are the hull weights quoted on their site, they're a lot less than other brands around the same size?
