Triple, they even reduced the colours to make it easier to print, I wonder how long it will remain free, it would also be interesting to see the results of the survey done on this issue some months back, it may have been posted but I missed it.

Thanks Triple for spotting and providing the link, great to see Maritime Safety QLd providing maps for download. Much easier to store and manage on iPad in boat than paper copies. One thing they could also add is the contact details for vmr's and marine rescue. I checked a couple on Gladstone map and they have listed them but not provided phone or radio frequencies.

Good tip from TheRealAndy...


Here is a tip if you print several pages and laminate. Cut the top ear off the printed page before you laminate so you have a clear sealed area of laminate where you can punch a hole through and use a keyring to hold several pages together. If you punch a hole through the laminate where there is paper is seperates when it gets wet.

Also located on http://www.nprsr.qld.gov.au/parks/moreton-bay/zoning/maps-resources.html are maps of artificial reefs and a heap of other stuff sure to cure insomnia.(marine park legislation etc).
