Injector cleaner and outboards.

I was chatting to my outboard mechanic the other day about a bit of a miss in the etec at idle and asked if it was ok to run an injector cleaner through it.

Apparently it is not only ok but is highly recommended. He also said that some work better then others but couldn't give me any brand names off the top of his head.

What I want to know is who is using them in their motors and what are the better quality ones to use?

BRP have their own. I just use that to avoid any arguments so to speak. Not that I do it often but recommended every 12 months by mechanic.
