Thats one hell of a boat! Only negative is table over berths!
I have no idea what a boat like this is worth but I wish I had the coin for it!

Looks like great value, have had no experience with pro line, hope it works out for you

That's a fair lump of a boat to have a 225 on the blunt end, regardless of the colour or stroke. Just make sure it is propped correctly.

Seems like a good price, plus no timber to worry about.

Will be close to 3- 3.2t empty as a rough guess, and will be over width. What are you towing with?
Cheers
Brendon

Hi Brendon,

I have a Patrol to tow with at the moment but is looking at buying something more suitable in the near future. Its 3.2T empty and the patrol can do 3.5T. I am fairly sure the 225HP will do an alright job of pushing her along but will see how she performs one Wednesday next week.

A few threads on hull truth which have a fair bit of info from current and previous owners. Jut make sure you have read the over width towing thread.

looks to be a nice boat and will ride soft but do consider the horse's as for that size and weight boat i reacon you might be 75hp short of where it should be imo. but looks very clean and tide

i went in a proline 23 wa about 2 months ago WOW!!!!! it was one of the smoothess rides .very quite with a 150 4s Suzuki on back
the most amazing thing was the accellaration and power, easy planing. thought it must be the moderate V HULL but had the weight
not to slam! i have been looking at all WA USA boats for 2 years this one looks like great value. i want one but need to win lotto!

overwidth as others have stated. insurance and towing issues. I'd be ringing an insurance company and making sure you can get it insured. also no insurance (or third party cover wither) if you tow illegaly not using correct overwidth rules and have an accident.
Overwidth pretty restrictive. daylight hours only, flags, restricted bridges and roads, no towing over christmas break etc..

The boat is 4 inched over but the trailer is legal. Can anyone please give more info on the over width laws?

The issue is, up to 3 m is doable, with some effort, but that boat will have a 10 foot beam, which is over 3m and that is going to bring a whole new set of problems to your plate, especially seeing as you are towing it with a "car"

Only listed as 8'6" beam so is well under the 2.9m limit.

It will be well over 3t when loaded so make sure you use rated D shackles and a cargo net over any loose items ;)

I would triple check a US boat 25 foot long that has only got that beam, regardless of what it is listed as.

Look at link below. 2.59m if it is a 251, from what I can see on my phone. A 2610 has a 2.99m beam and the beam goes up from there as length increases.

That price is on the money mate. Looks like its looked after.
Towing US boats is easy, just follow the rules. Only thing i hate is public hols restriction, but just have to organise trips better. And trailering at night is all good and legal.

Thanks for all the input so far guys.

I have moved on and found a 2001, 2440ft Robalo with twin 2006 150hp 4stroke Suzi's (300hrs) its got hard top and all the goodies. The boat will need to be imported but looks in great condition.
