Anyone here know where I can get bulk 5 kg box Mullet fillets from for a good price. Looking for 20kg to salt up for trip to 1770.Have tried the local sea food markets around North side Brisbane and they only have 1kg packets for around $8 Kg.

Aussie sea food house at lawnton have frozen mullet fillets for $4.99 / kg or fresh beach mullet for $6/kg.

Luc's Wholesale seafood at Bulimba have 10kg boxes of mullet fillets for $50

Yeah one and the same if you can get one of the sons they will usually give you a better price then old Luc.

Its funny I was at seafood house at lawnton 2 weeks ago and beach mullet was 6 bucks a kg and sea mullet was 10 bucks a kg, but for mine it looked like when the sea mullet got a bit old looking it then became beach mullet, I asked the girl just to see the answer and was told the sea mullet was caught way out at sea, yeah right..
