Can someone let me know where I can find out information from start to finish (how to install a live bait tank in the transom, pumps, electrics and where to drill my holes) on a Stacer 489 runabout, reason being I didn't want the dealer to do it cause they charge like a wounded bull.
Where would be the best place to buy everything needed to do this setup???
Thanks

Ok,
Well I just bought the boat from the boat show and haven't recieved it yet just trying to get things organised.
The only information/photos Ive got is whats in the brochure I'm also thinking about installing a BAITMATE REMOVABLE BAITBOARD WITH TANK.

So I'd like both bait tanks in the transom and the bait board plumbed.
So any help or info greatly appreciated

Hi Rota

I have a bait tank cut into the transom on my Stacer and plumbed to the hull for an intake via a pump.

Works a treat and doable if you are handy let me knoe it you need pics

baitmate tank would be less cutting....but i would still do a through hull pump install ....
i just got the small tank from bcf 25/30 ltrs...has lockable lid included...johnson through hull pump kit ...put the pump next to the bung hole ....outlet next to the pump...cut the tank into the transom ...added a 10$ water proof led light ...just make sure you have enough room to fit the tank because some are bigger...

Some pics of your bait tank would be nice so I can see how it fits and also do you know how many litres it is?
Did you fit it or the dealer fitted it??
