Quality mechanic in Cairns for Etec

I am looking for a mechanic in Cairns who really knows his stuff about Etec's
I know where to go in Brisbane, but not in Cairns. I want to develop a good service relationship.

Does anybody have someone to recommend by experience??

Hey mate

A mate of mine with the etec ended up having to take his to tully to be fixed from memory. Not sure if there is a dealer in Cairns or he just didn't like them.

There is a dealer in Cairns...though I guess it goes to show how crap the service is for Evinrude in FNQ..unfortunately many dealers will work on almost all motors though only evinrude dealers will work on etecs..wouldnt bother at all about tully as they seem to enjoy overcharging for known etec faults and are too wimpy to even complain to head office about it to give their customers a fair deal....mechanics also disregard factory advice when fitting new motors.
