Hi just wondering if any body has mounted a Isolator switch on there battery box, it is in my the back corner of my tinnie and exposed to the weather. Would like to use one of the BEP switches, The wiring is already connected straight to the battery so I don't want to have to rewire, this is why I am looking at mounting the switch on the battery box. just want to easily disconnect the power when the boat is sitting at home instead of connecting a battery terminal each time usually at the ramp. Any info or pictures would be good thanks.

It makes little difference where you mount it, if mounted on the battery box, you will only need a cheap short lead to connect it up, I would try to keep the switch out of the weather/spray if possible
