I have a Yamaha fuel water filter and want to replace it with a filter that has a clear bowl on the base. Does anybody know 100% what Racor filter fits. I was told to buy a Racor S3213 (filter only) or a Racor B32013 ( filter and base). Is this correct.......?????? Or would I be better off buying another complete unit

Does this photo help Chris. Might buy a different complete unit. Racor filters prices are outrageous.

There is two sizes in the bit that screws onto the part mounted on the boat, you will need to get the correct size, then buy a filter that is "double ended" and the glass/plastic bowl screws onto the bottom threaded bit f the filter, probably just as easy, and might even be cheaper to buy the complete "kit" just to make sure you get the right bits, Eastener make a reasonable cheap setup, and the filter can be replaced with a brand name if you like.

Yeah, see your problem now.. Hey the top of yours is stainless, the replacements are not likely to have a stainless top and do corrode.

Part no is on the bottom, mar-fuelf-il-tr.

Hey Bruce

Jon E sells the SAW ones, complete unit with filters that are only about $25 each, and the filter head that it all screws onto is made of composite material so no rust, ever. Reputedly come out of the same production line as the Racors. Better filters than the easterners.

Might be just as easy to start over with an all new setup. Worth a phone call to check out the all-up cost of the head unit, filter and clear bowl as a set.

cheers
