DI Point Lagoon Boat Launch

Anyone been up Double island and dropped their boats in lately. Is there still access from the lagoon to open ocean. Been a while since I launched there. Any info or latest pics you might have would be appreciated.

Up there a month ago and the road around the back of the lagoon was cut off and the lagoon mouth was very shallow and only suitable for tinny's at high tide. The main beach at the Rainbow Beach side is looking fine to beach launch from though if you're set up for it. Note that the Pro's (seem to come from everywhere nowadays!) hit the area 'very hard' from about now for the next 3 or so months chasing mullet and Tailor.

Im in a 5mtr alloy, only need about a foot of water and ill make it across the shallows. Was more looking at using this spot to run wide of DI and Fraser. This is the most recent clip I could find showing the lagoon. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpPcu8c9NHE
