Hi, on a recent stop over in Hong Kong I visited a fishing village and walked through a street full of the live fish markets. Not sure if I agree with it or not, but it's their country, their way and culture. I suppose it's the way they are collected and where they come from that would be my only concern. Anyway I thought it was pretty interesting and thought I'd share. Plenty of trout, cod, jacks, king crabs, crays ect
Cheers

That is a fascinating market and well worth a visit, thanks for sharing the photos.

I don't mind these sort of markets as it shows you exactly what you are buying and you know it us fresh - here we can buy dory, a fish that was bred in captivity in a pond in Vietnam, fed god knows what, killed, filleted, frozen then sent over here. Give me fresh fish any day of the week

Indo live fish markets supply plenty of barra cod. I think the rate in KLoon is around US$200/kg last time I look. It is pretty lucrative.
