Picking up a Hydrofield sandfly 4.1 tomorrow (great condition) on a near new trailer without a outboard for $400!
So I'm looking to power it with a 50 or 40hp and have a budget of 4-$4500. Any suggestions?

I hope it's not the one I looked at recently that was absolutely CHOCKAS of osmosis and blisters.

As to what outboard, that really depends on what you can get for your budget. New old-tech 2 stroke (I assume you can buy for this) or used 4 stroke efi.

Nah woo it hasn't even gone on the market. Bought off my boss at work and definitely has no osmosis or blisters! 😆

The trailer alone is worth double that

Thanks for the replies guys!
Those outboards look the goods. Has anyone had dealings with KNP marine?
