Don't know if you get this up in Qld, but it is handed out for free down here in NSW. Dave Lockwood normally does a NSW fishing article each month but he has written a piece on 4 strokes and something on technology in general. Interesting on the new Yamaha 115b it only weighs 26lbs more than the Suzuki DF90. NOT that I'm shopping, just for you considering podding your 5.5 cats. You can read the article here: http://magazine.afloat.com.au/?iid=91152#folio=50 or I've attached a scan Steve

Interesting adverts too. Ta Yes, the Flook anchor 'glides out' for a 5:1 set rather than having to motor forward, drop back etc. This also got my attention. Steve

Two of those, one at each end, when whiting fishing and you would be set 20 m off a weed bed that you can cast to for great results.

luv it

Looks like the 115B is the goods, higher displacement lighter weight weighs the same as my 100s only a couple of kg heavier than the new 100s. Kills the zuks

Yep, Yamaha are definitely the Jenny Craig of outboard motors; they just keep getting lighter and more powerful. I was considering zuk 60's but got 10HP more for only a few kg more. Now the same thing's happening with the higher HP versions.
