Moreton Manly marine rescue advice

Hi all, i'm trying to work out what the best way forward is for buying marine rescue "insurance" if I mostly launch at Moreton Bay Manly boat ramp and also sometimes but seldom launch at Bribie Island. Any advice for a first time boat owner in QLD ?

My $50 coastguard membership gives me Statewide coverage

it costs $70 year to join manly coast guard, covered from bribie island to gold coast, 24 hour marine assistance from emergency and breakdown situations
