If a boat and trailer are registered in NSW, are they automatically able to be trransferred to a Qld rego? Or do you have to go to Dept Transport to have them checked over and approved?
thanks for any help

The boat should be OK as long as it has a boat code (hin) the trailer however I would think it would be a bit different and will need some sort of inspection depending on how big it is.

If the trailer has brakes it will need a roadworthy, otherwise I think you can do a self inspection.
