Got a 2009 125, get up to 2km per litre economy on a flat bay and 1.8 generally offshore. It pushes a 19 Tournament.

Got a friend with a 2007 model on a 6.7 glass boat gets around 1.7ks per litre and he comments how little oil it uses. Ive got a 175 suzuki and there is not much difference in fuel but a bit in noise. Got another mate with a new 150 etec already had to replace computer and always has a oil soot stain on the back of his motor.

I have a 25 Opti at the back of my GW, all up fishing weight 3000 kg, spinning 18" Enertia prop, troll at 2000 rpm 8 knots using 10 lts per hour , average use 1.4 km per lt. will do about 370 km on 5 lts oil.
I had a 200 Opti on my old Trophy, never had any problems, they use about the same fuel as 4 bangers and e-tec, optis are much noisier than 4 strokes at low to mid but not much in at at full song. If noise bothers you don't buy Opti, go 4 stroker.

Used to have a 115 Opti from new, what an awesome motor it was. Got me out of the poo many times.
Only complaint was the steering arm was starting to rust after only two years, but that could have been scratched or something.

I've got a 115 opti with 275 hours up and it's never missed a beat. Pushes a Haines 17L along doing 2 km per litre on flat seas with little difference offshore

Had a 150 hp Opti on my Cruise 550 Outsider. Went well. Top speed about 80km and used about 80ltrs of fuel from Manly to Deep Tempest and back. It was 1999 model but around 2003 gave some problems such as throttle position sensors but
all in all not a bad motor. Not as torquey as a 150 EFI motor. Had to go down 1" pitch size in the prop to get the same get up and go.
