Hi all,
Well not boating for me this weekend as the wife is just out of hospital so maintenance time instead.
The hatch on the Stacer is pretty munted with the pinch weld on it's last legs and the paint in very average condition in places.
So I have attacked it with the wire brush followed by the sander with 80 grit to remove the flaked paint and feather it back to the good paint.
Now I am after some advise/options of what to do next - key questions are:
1. Give the rest of the hatch a light sand and paint the whole hatch?
2. Should I etch prime the bits I have sanded and then just do a top coat on those?
After a bit of reading it seems like both ideas have some merit - just want to know am I missing anything or any handy hints
