looking good mate, whens its due to be in the water? Did you find this was a cheaper way of doing it rather than buying something new off the shelf? how many MM is it going to be? Does this work out cheape than buying something pre made? I am interested in doing this myself.

Is this the Ralph that used to build Bluewater boats?

Hi Nicholas, it is going to ready in approximately 6weeks time, I am buying through Brisbane Yamaha but Ralph builds for them. I did it this way as I had to trade my old boat in rather than try to sell myself, although you can buy direct from Compass Boats if you wish to. Not sure about being cheaper but certainly sure of the workman ship going into the build. Ralph is a very passionate boat builder and no short cuts on his part. I am very impressed thus far and find he is only to helpful to give me the right advice with out the sales pitch.

Thanks Dantren, I will do so excited as this is the first time I have done a build from scratch, being able to make personal changes along the way
I think is part of the fun of the whole experience.

Is this a Compass or an Oz Craft?, and did you have to wait long to get started?

Oog this is built by compass, and it is branded as Oz Craft by Brisbane Yamaha who are the sales agent for Ralph.

Sorry forgot to write time for starting was within a week as Ralph was about to start another boat to which I placed the order on. I have made a few changes thus far not big ones but to suit my liking, I am going with a hard top not soft top, also going to have full glass and sliding windows rather than with 1/2 screen and clears.

Thanks SS, wasn't sure whether the Oz Craft was a design in its own right, or was another rebranded.
Looking forward to watching it progress.
