engine mount minn kota

hi all any one seen or used one of these have a chance to buy a 55lb saltwater engine mount minn kota cheap
how do they perform or better to get a bow mount

Bow mount with auto-pilot or I-pilot is better, you can set and forget for most of the time.

Go the Bow Mount Mate. I bought my tinny with a 55lb on there already. Only used it a couple of times but real handy for getting in skinny water and for a stealth approach on a school of tailor feeding one time. Good for trolling for flatties over the flats too.
Sold it a couple of months ago and kicking myself now as I don't have that element of stealth anymore. Used the cash from that to get a GPS/Sounder combo so not all bad.

thanks prob will go with the bow mount as you have to use motor to steer would be great if you are trolling offshore a lot
