Hi Guys,

My Haines Hunter 580SF has only 1 seat,it's an ex-commercial mackerel boat and the previous owner had a large esky which sat where the passenger seat would normally go.

The helm chair is on a stainless frame with a reelax seat, which is a good seat, but the base doesn't pivot (it only adjusts backwards and forwards). I can fit an esky or fish bin under the seat.

I'm looking at these options for when I take either the family or others out:

1. Buy a couple of Boatbox http://www.boatbox.com.au/products-page/helm-boxes/boat-box-duo-helm/ and mount new chairs to them - the expensive option

2. Buy a large esky and put a cushion on it, as a bench seat - the cheapest option

3. ?

Any advice welcome.

Cheers - Todd
