The Capacity Label and Ride smart stickers used to be free at Qld Transport - now you have to buy them from a boat licence provider or boating shop - some charging up to $10 per stcker - another big tax in the smart state !

I got offered the stickers with my Business name on them for Minimum buy of 2000 for $1 each... told em to jam it.

Apparently you have to be certified to print them

All new boats have to have an ABP, so no sticker required.

It has been many years now that pre-ABP moats have had to have capacity labels affixed. They've been handed out for free for a very long time.

All that considered, you would have to think that demand would be very low? Maybe thats the reason?

After doing my small boat rebuild I was disgusted when I had to pay $7 for a new capacity sticker. Even more so now if it has been marked up from $1 as per SK above.

I paid $2.50 for mine at the local Tackleworld store, no advertising, about 2 weeks ago. For some thing that is a mandatory safety compliance issue you would think that the cost of production could be covered by your yearly boat rego. Just a government grab at your hip pocket for mine.
