Hi, looking for a good mechanic to look into a problem I'm having with a 2012 4 stroke mercury. Been to 2 mercury mechanics already (1 in Brisbane and 1 on the Gold Coast). Both have been dud experiences.

Motor is under warranty.

Appreciate some recommendations on who to take it to.

I use Karee Marine for mine. Have had nothing but good service from them 👍

What side of Brisbane are you from? My Mercury Outboard is serviced by Brisbane Marine at Clontarf on Brisbanes Northside, cannot speak highly enough of these guys, exceptional service. Just Google for there website and address.

Thank you all. Will give Brisbane marine a call.

Oldie, had vibration between 2500-3000rpm before planing. Gold Coast mechanic said dura hub gave way but I disagreed. Gave me the boat back after they claimed they refit a prop bush but vibration was still there. I Changed prop and vibration is gone. Now alarm keeps sounding. Says fault is over revving but boat is propped right and alarm goes off at 1500-2000rpm.
