Can anyone help me with advice on a new trailer for my 2004 cruise craft 685 outsider. It has a dunbier under it now that needs a lot of repair. Cruise craft recommend a redco trailer. Is there anything anyone can strongly recommend for a cruise craft!!

Reco trailers are very good, as are Oceanic trailers and Dunbier. Mackay trailers are also very good. Any one of these you can't go wrong. http://www.mackaytrailers.com/ http://www.oceanictrailers.com.au/ http://www.marinetune.com/ (For dunbier trailers) www.wynnummarine.com.au/‎ (for Redco trailers)

I've got an 18 year old Redco under my 21' Seafarer, and it's still going strong. I would go with what Cruise Craft recommend for their Hull.

Have a look at the Belco Trailers while your deciding......Very well built. Dan

I have a 15 yr old Tinka for my Vagabond, Redco and Tinka are made by the same company and Seafarers on Tinkas got a 5 yr hull warranty while it was one year on any other brand. http://www.mayfairmarine.com.au/trailers/

Id be looking at a Petersen Alloy trailer, good price, solid trailer and looks good as well.

Manning, do you have any preferences (material & type of trailer/rollers) or constraints (vehicle tow capacity)?
Cheers

Try FMS Trailers I have heard they are pretty good.

Try FMS Trailers I have heard they are pretty good.

A mate had them build a trailer and had a comedy of errors with the process. Good trailer in the end, but he swears he wouldn't go there again.

Its not the build quality these days, in the old day galvanizeing was real gal not like the thinned out soup they use today and they probably double dipped back then,im in the same boat thinking on what brand to buy now for a new boat.
