Hello everyone, I think maybe my motors are mounted too high. Only 300 odd hours on them and the anodes are fairly eaten away, would this be from prop ventilation or pretty normal? I do feel i can't trim them out much as well.
I have only had the boat a few months. 2004 2301wa seswirl striper
Top speed is under 35 knots (from memory ?), with 4 pob and full to 3/4 fuel.
Fantastic boat for handling and now i am used to the trim tabs they certainly work well to make the hull work to iron out the chop and short swell we get here.
Anybody out their with same setup to compare mounting heights? As you can see by the photos they were mounted lower before, so http://seastriper.com/forums/images/smilies/dunno.gif
Anti cav plates are about 25 mm to 50 mm (on the angle) above hull.
Thanks in advance.
John
