There's a guy on the north side who imports US alloy trailers, I'm sure he's on here but don't know his name. Look in the business section on this forum

I have one under my 5.8m plate. I built it from 150x 50 mm box, and 200 x 50 box. I gusseted all joints with 4mm plate. It is 7 years old now, and never had a problem. All roller brackets and winch post are galvanised steel. There is virtually no electrolyis between aluminium and galvanised iron. Aluminium and zinc are next to each other on the galvanic table. I think I have uploaded a pic of the trailer . The winch post on it is the original alloy one, which was not a success, and bent while we were first loading the boat onto it. I then fitted it with a steel post.

Dave.

Hi, Leigh, the box section was 3mm. In 2006, I think it cost me about $2500 to build with the rollers, which are bloody dear!
