I came across this by accident. It's pretty interesting. I particularly like the second knot, the "Improved Bristol", which I have just tied a few times with braid to flouro, and it looks as pretty as a Slim Beauty, but is really simple to tie. It seems like a refinement of another knot I have seen today, called the "Lethal", but could be called any number of things.
I cut the line tags right at the knot, and gave it a bit of a workout on a door handle, and it didn't fail. I know that's not real world stuff, but it looks good so far. I think I'll give it a go for a while. It travels nicely through rod runners. The link to the article is below.
