I promised my 22yo son a fishing charter for his 22 birthday.
As he has some back injuries from a car accident late last year, a calm water trip is now the only option.

I don't mind which coast we go to as with a guide/charter we should be better off than just going land based obviously.

Which way would people think would be a better trip?

Y don't u just try to hook up with someone on here? Lots cheaper than a charter! Surely someone on here can take u and ur son out for a fish?

I see this bloke with clients fishing the seaway all the time and i've seen his guys getting a few good fish (mainly jewies) he certainly looks like he knows what he is doing. Everytime ive seen him he is using live pike.. not the easiest to acquire livies..

Brad Smith does a really good charter on either the Goldy or Tweed, depending what you are chasing. Highly recomended, but he generally only lure fishes unless you are after a feed of whiting.
