Wind conditions off Mooloolaba

Hi there

Heading up to Maroochydore for a week on Sunday & I've arranged to park my boat at the Mooloolaba Marina. Was just wondering what sort of wind speeds guys are heading out in? its looking like 15 knot SSE early in the week. I generally wouldnt go out in that in Moreton Bay but are the conditions different up there? I have a 5.2m centre console (Formosa). Looking to go out to the Gneerings etc.

any advice appreciated

mate 10 to 15 is a bit lumpy but ok most of the time...was out early today and it was around 5 to10 knots and it was fine in my 4.5m tinny until it blew up to 20 knots and it was bearable but wet lol :D best thing is its only a few ks out to the gneerings and if its to rough its not much of a trip home.....

Thanks Astro I usually play it pretty safe. Getting wet is standard procedure in a centre console lol!
