Converting Yamaha 40hp tiller outboard to side console

I have a 2005 Yamaha 40 HP tiller outboard on a Allycraft 410 Topender and want to investigate converting to a side/centre console as I often now fish solo and am not comfortable with poor vision and rough ride etc when driving. Any advice would be appreciated.

You will need

Control Box and cables approx. $350.0 (second hand)
brackets and control cable fittings (estimate $150.00 from a wrecker)
Console... $3-500.00
If you need electric start add another $700.00
steering.. $350 (need steering arm from wreckers too.

Then add labor if you don' do it yourself
