Hi all

I was looking through some old posts to get some ideas on cleaning the windsheild and clears.Mr Sheen was mentioned so after the wife got some whilst shopping I gave it a go.

Bloody awesome! Clears, windshield, screens on sounder and plotter all look like new.

Just thought I would mention this again in case anyone is spring cleaning.

Cheers

Blair

Thanks for posting. I use Mr Sheen on my motorbike helmet visor, but had not thought about the clears. Will give it a go.

I used to work for a Sydney based seaplane operator almost 20 years ago and we used Mr Sheen on the screens and windows. Worked very well and the water beaded and dispersed quite well (very important when your customers are usually trying to take photos through those windows) and resisted salt residue for quite a few take offs/ldgs before needing to be done again - usually once again at luch time and once again when the floats were pumped for the final time and it was washed and put to bed for the night.

Use it on my own boat now, works well. Not sure if there is a silicone content or not though...
