After a long run I noticed a squeaking noise at idle. Noise goes away as soon as you give it a few revs. Anyone know what it could be? Goes away when the motor cools down. Sound seems to be from lower unit area and sounds just like a faint fan belt squeak on a car.

driveshaft support bush just above water pump... drop the box off and grease it!!
Do nothing and it may go away also

Your the man Gary. Thanks. Sounds like a dry bush.

That's exactly what it is a dry bush, mine used to squeak as well, noise goes away after a service when the bush is greased, but mine continued to squeak, it never got any worse though.
Regards
Honda.

Just normal. The 175s do it also.
