Which Bilge Pump.

Would appreciate some feedback on which bilge pumps have been known for their reliabillity,for some time i had bilge pump/pumps fitted and replace on the back bottom part of my transom to pickup water for a live bait tank and kept burning them out??, maybe should say the kept continuing to fail.
So some feedback before purchasing another would be appreciated:), how about the BFC, Johnson Bilge pumps ?? they worthy??.

Have 3 rule (bilge + livey)...no fails yet(!)...5 years...my main bilge has pumped a lot of fuel (due to a leak), so pretty happy with it :)

ditto to Rule pumps. Had them as bait tank and bilge pumps for a few years now still going strong.

Rule are good - The Auto bilge pump I have in my Hornet has been superb
but I have had to replace rule bait pumps.

Johnston pumps are good too ..... I wouldn't pick one over the other.

If you burn them out ...... it's usually because they have been run dry
