FYI

Its not mine but had a look at it yesterday and if your of a mind to get a really well built solid ie 6mm plate tinny, this could be of interest. Don't think its advertised yet. He has another boat now so this one is surplus to his needs

some specs

2003 Lightning 5.25m, 6m LOA. Super heavy duty construction. (Does not bang like a tinny)
Power. Latest Model Mercury 115 hp EFI Four stroke with SS prop, done 176 hrs. I think it is 2010 from Force Marine in Southport. They have done all services.
Redco Sportsman trailer, dual axel, Mag wheels and spare. All fitted with commercial grade radial tyres. Electric winch 912 from memory
General. 6mm plate alloy, bow sprit, self draining floor, floor welded in alloy. hydraulic steering. Bimini with rocket launchers, in floor kill tank, huge storage, raw water wash down, alloy bait board, Dual battery system, new batteries 5 months ago. Bilge pump, fuel filter. Garmin GPS/Sounder. Navman UHF radio, Two anchors, Spare SS Prop.
Needs nothing. Great Sea boat and fishing boat.

Cheers

that looks a lot like my boat. how can a 5.25m boat measure 6 LOA ?

nice deep boat with high bow rails, feels very safe out in the blue. I almost want to buy it myself except I cant get to use the one I got now....anyway.
