Tolal length is 6.1m (includes pod)

there is 2 questions in the registration forms im stuck on: if anyone has a Haines Hunter V19R and would know i would be greatful.

(1) what is the maximum height: ?? does this include the wind screen?

(2) What is the maximum Draught: ?

Thanks

You mean V19C right?

Yes the max height includes the screen and canopy.

115 hp on a pod. Have you got a photo that you can post?

Right Its a V19R Cheers :)
I'll Get you that photo,,
i seen your other post regarding the V19r you have,
At the back where the bung holes are, there is a hole at the btm of the stringer, (to allow water to flow to either bung hole and looks as if it was built this way) i put my finger in here and can feel the wood of the stringer (should the wood be open to the elemants like this)
Would you know what the max draught is?

a boating mate thinks it would be about 0.4m draught , shoul i just take this and put it on the registration form, as this number will change if the boat is loaded/ empty of fuel and gear ??

Yeah put 0.4 it's just dumbo red tape of no worth or consequence on such a small vessel, waste of time..dont spend to much time on it IMO

the pod is glassed in place and has two bolts either side of the motor going back into the transom and is flush with the btm of the hull, inside the pod there is a builge pump

It's a Haines Hunter V19R Half Cab

Can't be both mate.
If it is a half cab, it is a V19C. If it is a V19R, it is a runabout
C = cabin, R = runabout

Nice choice IrishDave.
If it has an original cabin it is the V19c .
Mine is the standard runabout which makes it the V19R. (Like the others have said)

Cheers

i baught a 19 c from T Wild at springwood marine in 1982 with a 175 merc he had it for some time prior to me buying it, it was a half cab with toilet sink fridge double bed and i would say it was the best boat i ever owned. i was volunteering for beenleigh air sea rescue for 7 yrs at the time and they had two seafairers a 16 ft and a 19 ft and the haines was a better boat in the jumpin bar than both so have fun in your new boat. hilly 99

With hulls of that era it is a good idea to measure from the bow to transom, and then from bow around the shoulders and gunwale to the aft.
Don't be surprised if you are surprised.

Welcome to Boat Measurements.

Early reverse chine 19r by the looks of it, good seaworthy boat if the floor and stringers have been done, lot of blokes put a substantial wavebreaker on them. You wont break any speed records with the 115 but it should go ok.

ok so the dimentions of the boat are
bow to stern 5.5m, (not including: on the bow there is a 0.3m projection on top over which the anchor rope)
so all up 5.8m front to back (not including the pod)
the beam in the middle is 2.2 and 2.1at the stern

any ideas as to the year of build guys.????

im going with a v19 as the model ?

Early 70's, they were recognised as an 18 footer. Very early 19r Haines is my bet or maybe an 18 berty, could be.
