Hi All,
Just a little job I did over the last weekend. I cant beleive how shoddy the original job was, the photos of the origial wiring show a fair bit. I am not a auto electrician but thought I wwould give it ago. Things like no protection where the cables sit on the hangers or anywhere the cables went over aluminium, non tinned wire going to the bildge pump (Hence a lot of green wire) and to top it off a 20mm hole just 10mm above the deck at the back off the boat. I have searched for that hole for 4 years pulled every thing apart including carpets, inspection hatches everything on the transom etc. The funny thing is the guy that did the original work thinks he did an excellent job!!!!
Should make things a bit easier to find in the event a fuse blows.:D
These photos are of the existing wiring

The photos of the new installation

and the addition of some protection on top off the aluminium hangers
