Have replaced E-TECS with these 2x150 Mercurys commercial 4strokes what a big difference in fuel alone getting 1.8 ltrs to the NM on an average day around the 80ltrs per trip less fuel97972

7.2 seaprowler mainly fish bommies and rubble patches in the shipping channel or Kindamah reef

VOLVO that's both motors which is good i was expecting around the 1to 1.3 ltr/nm which still would have been good so am pretty happy

I would love one of these on my boat but I am not paying the 20k they want up here to fit one, when one comes up second hand I might grab it if the price is right.

Springwood Marine in Brisbane quoted me $ 18k fitted with stainless prop a couple of months ago.

Yeh long way to go from Mackay, they will come up soon from some of the pro boats, charter boats etc. I just have to keep an eye out.

all mercs come standard with stainless props after 40hp

Ric Pretty happy with fuel & performance, also was very impressed when 1 motor was lifted out of the water and with 4 pob and gear could still run home at around 20knots compared to the old motors with one out of the water was only getting 7knots hopefully wont have to ever do this. The point is why change something that is working well.

Yeah ditto that re the motor. Looking for 135-175 good second hand to re power an old 580 Cruise Craft. Cheers.

that is awesome figures and they look very mean on back of your boat :thumbsup:
if I try to convert this figures in metric that is around 0.5l per km per motor or less and that is awesome
just would like to ask you next time when you hit water, if you could please just check what numbers u will have if you trolling 6- 8 knots
this engines are more than 1 year out there but this are 1st figures someone publicly posting .
so far I could only find people saying how good this 150 are ,but no numbers
