Hi,

This may sound like a silly question, but I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions to stop rain water pooling in the middle of my Ocean South boat cover that I bought in July for my "Allycraft 425 Reelmate".

I thought of a thin piece of Bar than may fit in the rowlocks, but I'm not 100% sure about that idea yet.

Cheers
Scott

or they have small one too

Stick it in bucket with a brick or something on floor so it cant fall over in wind flap

Hey Scott, I have used big arse inflatable beach balls in my previous tinnies. Works a treat. I even use them (smaller types and sizes) on my current boat/cover. Try Clarkes rubber for different sizes etc. Regards, Tony.

I have a plastic chair where I park the boat. Just stand that under the tarp. Works a treat. I used have have water pooling all the time until I started doing this. Chair has to be tall enough to tent the tarp a little, and tarp has to be tight.

Hi All,
Thanks for your suggestions. I might give Peters suggestion a go, as we have plenty of spare chairs sitting in the shed.

Cheers

In front I open the anchor well cover and it stands proud of the and rails to 'tent' the cover.

In the rear I lay the boat hook centred from folded Bimini to top of rear seat.

I use a small four step fold up step ladder, works well.

I use a single piece of cheap shockcord from whitworths. Costs bugger all. Cut up an old wire coat hanger and fashion two little hooks. Cut to appropriate length to stretch it from a high spot on dash/screen down to outboard...or wherever creates a fairly taut lengthways ridge down middle of boat and then put your cover on. Cheap, fast and works.
