i bought a new 30 hp two stroke 12 mths ago i have been ill and have not yet started this motor could someone please tell me should i do anything prior to giving it a run.cheers,hilly

new fuel/oil and you should be right.... the engine may have been manufactured 3 or 4 years ago

Remember to use double the amount of 2 stroke oil for the first 20 hours
if its a brand new engine.
If you ask the people from where you bought it
and tell them your situation they might be more helpful than what you think?
