fishing near lismore

Tomorrow im heading to lismore for work and i should be done by lunch anyway instead of the long 2hr n a bit drive down to work and come home im throwin a rod in the car anyone know of anywhere to fish land based i dont mind fresh or salt water and yes i do have my fishing licence for down there

There's a few creeks I fish along Bangalow road only a few km's out of Lismore. At the first bridge you cross just after Boatharbour Rd you can park up, cross the rd and go through the big steel gate. It'll go through a little forest track and comes out in some prime water.
Lots of stonker carp there too.

Otherwise jump on Ballina Rd, and head east to Ballina. Google maps the place and you should find some nice water.
