Hi All,

Just got my insurance renewal from Nautilus Marine, last years premium roughly $2020 , this years $3016 !! Holy Cr*p .. So I rang Club Marine . Club Marine informs me they don't cover Mackay for moored boats, only trailered boats !! On line it seems you can't get quotes for Club Marine anywhere north of Yeppoon . Any ideas on insurance companies that cover Nth QLD , or does Nautilus have a monopoly which explains the premium hike ??
And one more reason for a separate North Queensland State .>:(>:(>:(

I went with Suncorp, tried Club Marine for a quote, guy was rude and wouldn't give me a price for the type of insurance I wanted, just the type he wanted me to take out.

Tried Suncorp - they don't do moored boats, RACQ - don't do boats over 10 metes in length, NRMA does moored boats greater than 10 meters .... premium was $3800 , $800 more than Nautilus !!! Time to move to South of Rockhampton were Club Marine still insures !!!
