Hi Back again can any one help i have a 2010 salt series 130 hp with stock electronic gauges the one with the speedo has a fuel gauge do you know if the ohm range would be between 0 to 180 ?? im looking at a sender from whitworth in this ohm range one more question ;D there only seems to be one spare wire from this gauge a yellow ?? any one got there tank hooked up to there yamaha gauge

You caould have either one of three types of sender switch......

Hi James. I would see if you could borrow a multimeter and measure the sender unit. Should get a reading that would satisfy your curiosity. Measure across the earth tag and the middle tag.

I think it should be 240 Ohms empty and 33 Ohms full.
