Can anyone give me the good oil on the best most long lasting Boat fuel line available please, if i was above floor I would use vehicle EFI rated line as it will last 30+ years with safety but the rubbish that seems to pass as the boating fuel line standard... one is lucky to get 5 years with confidence even under floor, the portable fuel tanks grey line split to multiple pieces at year 5 already.

Is there a good brand or something for this grey boating fuel line that will give 3x the robustness.

i went and got mine from a hydraulic hose supplier
repairer down here in tweed .

Just told them it was for a boat installation. It is similar to the link above
and they told me it has a 20 plus yr life span and the only thing was to never use the
E10 fuel with ethanol.

its very hard to find anything quality these days as most of the hose available is crap made in china. good luck finding suitable 10 year rated hose. i bet the people who rate it arent around when it fails??

E10 fuel with ethanol.

thats not really alot of use Id say-what about the first time you put it in accidentally, or the mate does, or you are low in fuel and someone gives you some?

It was mentioned to me because of the expense one can incur using the E10.i have seen it destroy hoses and gaskets in cars
and machinery which have non E10 compatible rubber etc.

as for accidentally filling with e10 or a mate doing so that would never happen because im the only one
who fills it and i refuse to use e10 and i have a small yellow sticker placed where my filler is as well
to match the pump color.

One mistakenly filled tank of e10 will not harm the hose but could seriously fk the motor - filter etc.

My stupid Mercedes car even has a huge sticker telling me not to use E10

The danger from using E10 in a newer engine isnt an immediate catastrophic failure.
It is from phase separation from moisture and aging causing 100% ethanol going into the engine
