Hi fellow ausfishers, im looking for some help with settings for my 998. Any help with setting you run on your own would be appreciated. I dont get to put it in the water and play with it enough, but would like to be able to read it a bit better when I do. Any suggestions on dvds and where to buy them would also be a big help. Thanks and tight lines.;D

Drop in and have a chat with the boys at Barra Jacks if you head into Rocky. They have helped me heaps with my settings. You'll find that if you drop in in the middle of the day on a weekday when theyre not busy they will spend the time with you.

I had almost all but given up on the 2d in 50m of water until I went and had a chat with Pilly for 15 minutes a few weeks ago.

They wont like hearing if its an imported unit; so dont tell them.

A mate did a charter out of Gladstone and the guide had them on his boat. Taught my mate heaps and he is pretty good with the unit now. Good excuse to go on a charter anyway.
