hey guys
I have just bought a 3.8 kipper and it came with a 15hp merc 2 stroke and my nearest lake has a 10hp limit so I am looking at a 9.9 merc 4 stroke but was wondering if there is much difference in weight from one to the next. not too worried about the speed loss as we will be mainly just trolling around but the balance is what I was querying

thanks

a quick google reveals the 9.9 4 stroke as 38KG, the 2 stroke just a bit lighter.

Hey oz, a mate of mine has a brand new suzuki 9.9hp 4 stroke. He won it a few weeks ago in the tight lines fishing comp. There $3300 but he is selling it for $2000 to get rid of it as he has no use for it.

Mitch.

OZ, I have a 9.9 Yammy 2 stroke available $750 to an AF member, but has a long shaft ::)

It was used as a sailboat auxilliary.

Cheers, Ray.

How much do you want for your 15 ozcrabby? Is it a short shaft?

hey guys

through a customer at work today ive been offered a 9.9 merc 4 stroke wich he had as an aux on his boat and would be a straight forward fit as mine is a merc and has forward steering so I have assumed as I don't know about other makes that it would be a pretty straight forward fit but that said I have not seen it and he hasn't decided on a price but catch up with him tomorrow or sun to find out .new to this boating stuff matt so im not sure what its worth and its a long shaft .
thanx ray will keep that in mind 8-)
