5.5m to 6m Centre Console

So after moving up to Noosa recently I am looking to upgrade the 485SF. (look in classifieds - shameless plug!)

Working a shift job means I have to make the most of my time off and get over the Noosa bar often when not ideal. While the 485SF handles great once out I always get a little nervous heading out, especially on the run out. I havent had any especially scary moments yet; but have been fairly wet on occasion.

Criteria -
Decent deadrise - 20 degrees or better
Fibreglass - cant be swayed
Under 6 meters - as I mostly venture solo so need something managable
Decent beam - looking over 2 meters
Near $50K BMT

So I have come up with 3 possibles.
Lewis 590 cc - a bit less fishy but great looking hull
Tournamet 1900 cc - has the fishy bits (live well etc) but probably not as good a hull
Signature 543SF - Dont know about pricing as yet but I expect it will be above the budget, but ticks all the other boxes boxes.

I have looked at the yank boats but in the under 6m category they seem to loose deadrise and appear more of a bay/flats boat. And the Galeforce/Hookers etc are a bit narrow for my liking.

Any first hand input on any of these hulls would be appreciated plus any other suggestions to add to the list.

What about a key west 186cc? Ticks all of your boxes, I think. 5.74m length, 2.44m beam, 19 degree dead rise.

I've just brought a lewis 590 walkaround and love it. I know it's not a cc but its the same hull I think. Handles awesome and the ride is really good too.

Check out Edgewater boats they are a great cc and there will be one that suits they ride great and tick all your boxes.

Meets most of your criteria well.
Plus its Aussie made on the Gold Coast with Australian conditions and fishing in mind.
Nice high sides, heaps of storage, 23 degree deadrise. Been for a spin in one and its a really smooth ride as well as being stable.

The 5.4m Hooker might be worth another look. I would be all over the 6m job but it might be a bit narrow for your liking. The Galeforce would also be in the picture for Aussie built jobs. There are a mile of yank jobs that fit your specs

Got the Tournament 1900 blue water, not a cc but the same hull. Stoked with the features of mine, BIG live tank and all the stuff you need in an offshore rig at 5.8 meters. Fish solo a lot but as others have said a truck load of options fit your bill.

That Jackeroo boat is a nice boat but it's variable deadrise so the deadrise gets measured a little unrealistically...for actuall on the water performance anyway.....going to be bumpy! relatively speaking.

How about the Cyclone 5.40 large centre console. High sides, 22 degree deadrise, 2.12 beam, glass and built to 2C survey. No wood used in construction as made of GRP and Klegcell foam. One of the driest boats around. Real rough weather boat that goes like a cut snake too.
Mine could be for sale at the right price:)
