Cheap whole Mullet

Chasing some whole Mullet (not river mullet) for crab bait on the Gold Coast or South Brisbane, kind of expected some to show up by now in the $1.99-$2.99 per kilo mark but yet to see it :-?

Anybody know of any places selling some?

What's wrong with River Mullet for crab bait? I think the Mullet season is just about over up there.

you can still get 10kg block whole mullet from Morgans for 29.99. Comes in a cardboard box rock solid frozen so make sure you have give yourself time to defrost them and separate
