Power trim & Tilt

Can someone tell me if genuine power trim & tilt can be fitted to a 2 year outboard if it wasn't purchased with it at the time.(4 stroke 40hp)

most engines that don't come with TnT are manufactured to take other types of manual trim/assist styles and will not accept a standard electric trim unit.

However you can get an aftermarket CMC trim unit to do the job

looked at doing this a while ago. From memory I think the aftermarket part was quoted at roughly the $1000 mark
