Well after our engagement with Moby Dick today, my Deckie said that we snuck up on him with a 4 stroke, and if we had a 2 stroke, the whale would have heard us coming well before we left the ramp, just saying;D !

No.

The only reason you came out unscathed was because with a 130 Honda on your boat it makes it a semi-displacement vessel hence the reason you couldn't get up on the plane to hit it with any decent amount of speed and the soft cruisecraft hull was forgiving enough to not crack but rather just bend around the whale when you hit it.

I know tongue in cheek but the 150hp Honda is lighter than the equivalent yammie 150. In fact, many in the hp range are now lighter with some exceptions like the f70. This perception that yammies or most other engines are lighter than Hondas is no longer founded I think. Hondas and cruise craft kickass in my opinion.

Hondas are bloody awesome!

Had the 150 on a Haines Hunter 580SF and it was a pearler.

Hey! Don't go bringing Yamahardness into this.... these Honda owners are trying to feel good about their motors.

Don't go rubbing the Yammasuperiority into their noses... it's not polite.

Let those of us with Yammies not go HaHa at the lesser folk. :)

so it seems apart from a bit of tongue in check jealousy and some uninformed b.s, it's unanimous. Hondas truely are the best!
