Can anyone help me with the age of my new pride and joy a Caribbean Reef Runner?

I believe it is an early 90's model and would like to know the weight, age, max hp and max persons etc...

Any help would be appreciated

Hey scoota,

I'm guessing your asking because the original manufacturer's plate is gone?

I know some of the 20 and 21 were rated to 200HP outboards, but there are some kicking around with 5L V8 sterndrives in them. Is it stern drive, converted to pod or factory outboard?

Ben.

Yeah that's right Ben, a new transom has consumed the plate and I have tried Caribbean but they said it should be above the stern drive box which it is not. Was hoping someone might recognise the stickers for the year/model but no luck yet.
IT was a stern drive but has been podded. Photo attached.

Got an old Peter Webster mag :
Length 6.5m
Beam 2.44m
Weight 940 kg
Deadrise 21 deg
Power 150-200hp

Released in 1970 and phased out in 1985.

Are the year of the trailer and outboard providing any clue?

OK.

Given it has been converted to a pod, it will basically be whatever the pod is rated to. With no labels or manufacturer mark, it is a little hard to know. :(

I have seen guys running 250HP 4 strokes on pods on 20' Bertams/Caribbeans. 200HP is a good match for that hull.

would it be comparable to my pride 22 concorde/sunseeker. It is podded with 225 4 stroke.
