I saw it today and it is pretty ordinary, Big clumps of tarry oil around where the drege was moored and no oil booms anywhere near it! Ben

i heard about it today at work. while we were loading the boat.. the QMS (Queensland maritime safety) came aboard the ship to take some oil samples, i am thinking to match it with the oil slick, they also had 4 people from their insurance arrive mid day.. getting ready haha. dont think i should say the vessels name..

Any ship caught dumping oil like this should automatically be made into a reef, no if buts or maybe's. It will make the crew take more ownership of their actions.

So much for that little snapper honeyhole. Nature might bounce back in time but again it's to do with a shipping misadventure, go figure.
